Limoges wg&co Cream Soup set with old english W on side?
What is the significance of the large old english/old french W on the side of the gold trimmed, cream soup cup is. I cannot find onthe web. The wg&co is in green on the bottom. Both handles are colored gold.

The green WG & Co. on the bottom means it was made by William Guerin & Company, a rather famous porcelain maker. If it has Limoges above, and France below the W. G. & Co., that means it was made between 1891 and 1932. The W on the side is probably an intitial of whoever ordered the piece, which was no doubt part of an entire dinner set. If you're thinking of selling it, check ebay to see what people are actually willing to pay for such an item. Good luck.
