Have you come to question the choices and direction that our party has taken? Ask yourself these six questions:
1. Do you believe in peace with all nations?
Our Republican tradition has historically been anti-war, including extracting ourselves from Korea and Vietnam.
2. Do you believe you can best determine how to spend your own money?
Historically, Republicans have always stood for economic freedom and fought to reduce government spending.
3. Do you believe that personal responsibility is the foundation for healthy communities?
We have always believed that personal responsibility is promotes healthy communities as is superior to stealing money from hard working Americans to give handouts to those corporations or individuals who think they are entitled.
4. Do you believe that the constitution was created to protect our individual rights?
Traditionally, and most importantly, the Republican party has stood on a foundation of personal liberty and our constitutional rights.
5. Has our Republican party lived up to its principles?
Many Republicans believe the party has lost its way by involving us in foreign entanglements at the cost of our blood and treasure. The promise of economic liberty has been drowned out by special interests, bloated government and the war in Iraq. Our party has acquiesced to incremental plans for national health care while offering amnesty and welfare to those who have crossed our borders illegally.
6. Do you feel that the Republican party has heard your voice?
Good people disagree, but the stress felt by many thinking Republicans comes from the fact that we have not been listened to and our conservative vote has gone unheeded. In short, our representatives have lost their way.
Ron Paul can hear your voice, because like you, he is a man of principle.
Ron Paul has not been corrupted by the political power game in his many years in Congress. He will restore our party to its heritage of limited government and personal freedom.
