China Salad Plate
I have a full set of Myotts Country Life china in full color. I want to sell it, how much is it worth?
i have 8 tea cups, saucers, 8 fruit bowls, 8 Salad Plates, 8 6inch round plates (i don't know what they're for), 1 sugar container, 1 cream container, 1 8 1/2inch serving bowl,and 1 Oval Serving Platter. All of it is in perfect condition. I have checked on ebay and found some things i have here and there, but never in the quantities that i have. i added it all up and its coming to about $650. this seems astronomical. Please help. thanks.
If you want to sell it through Ebay you could put it on with a minimum bid of $500.00, but it likely wont sell that way for a very simple reason most people have some of the set already and are looking to replace broken or chipped pieces. You could auction them individually, but not everyone is looking for the pieces during the same time. If you want top dollar on Ebay you'de probaly wan to list the pieces individually in a buy it now a the standard price per piece. (it also helps on Ebay to note that you have other peices available and will combine shipping since this is a huge part of the final transaction price.)
If you are looking for someone else to do the selling most antique malls have dealers that will consign for 50% of the final sales price.
