Clean Swimming Pool For Healthy Body
My parents were expert swimmers and even took part in the local championships in the quaint village we lived in. Since I was a kid my family encouraged the habit of swimming in us and we used to swim regularly in swimming pools surrounding our home. By the way I forgot to mention that my father is a Swimming coach for Olympians and we lived closed to the remains of an Olympic Village! He is still involved with IOC's local branch as a maintenance hand for the swimming pools with the thought that one day the Olympic Games may come back to this Village. Wishful thinking can sometimes be rewarded with a divine event.
To maintain a swimming pool one needs to know about cleaning and disinfecting, water quality, about pool construction, swimming pool chemicals, general hygiene and showers. The facility must be well cleaned absolutely imperatively to ensure that no one develops any water borne sickness. Regular schedules are given to the staves so that there is no lapse in the cleaning of the pools. Even If the pools are not being used for some time the cleaning is still carried out and the pool is kept dry or even covered till its next use. Chlorination or brominating is regularly affected and the water pH maintained at a neutral state of 7.2 to 7.6.
Other steps include cleaning the skimmer baskets, providing and controlling algaecide and clarifiers, shock method of liberating free chlorine in the pool and some other minor treatments. The physical cleaning of the pools are done by skilled pool cleaners who ensure that the cleaning is done by vacuuming and brushing followed by drying and then protecting the pool with a special safety swimming pool covers. There is no doubt that expert swimmers who know all about swimming pools are thought to be the best people to maintain such Olympic grade pools.
