What did you think of the new One Tree Hill Episode?

Season 5, episode 1. I thought it was okay, kinda good, but when I watched it it seems that they kinda just got back together and the show still focuses around the high school except now the characters are teachers/coaches. I like the whole thing where they skipped 4 years and college, but it's still basically the same show with a couple twists like brooke's clothes over bros and lucas's books.

i kind of agree with you. nothing really happened this episode. and there was alot of the same high school drama. i like whats going on with nathan, that seems like a grown up issue and hopefully they handle it that way, and not were one day he just starts walking and playing basketball and crap, and then its all better. i think they have a real growth opertunity with nathan and haleys marriage.

i really didn't want to see anything with luke and peyton yet, yea i thought one of them might have some kind of feelings but not as strong, and i deffinatly don't want to see any closeness for awhile. and i don't like the idea that she came home for him. thats very high school.

mm i like brooke standing up for herself. i though that was one of the highlights of the show.

even with all this said, i think it will get better, i think there was a lot of over comensation for the last 4 years. i think they really need to difine themselves as a whole new show and not the same old one tree hill. if they can do this, it should be a really awesome show!

there were difinatly some really good moments.

such as when peyton told luke he was her insperation. to me that was a really sweat moment, that wasn't high school and it made me want to keep watching. it was like a thank you, and when you do come home you want to think the people who helped you get were you are, and to me that was an awesome moment. now the rest were she told him she was at the book signing and stuff, i didn't really care for that. it was too high school, to dramatic.
